Business Systems AnalystThis role provides technical support for the modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems. The position involves translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring all systems support and conform to business specifications. The analyst will act as a liaison between business units and software or hardware developers and vendors, leveraging domain knowledge to improve business and team interfaces.Key ResponsibilitiesInfluence, gather information, challenge, and interrogate data while collaborating with partners across multiple lines of business.Produce frequent reporting on critical risk, performance, and operational measures.Work with stakeholders and data providers to gather key data and metrics for enterprise-wide scorecards.Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile variances, and present complex data in a coherent manner.Translate business needs into technical requirements for system modifications or implementations.Act as a liaison between business units and software/hardware developers.Identify and implement process control improvements.Required QualificationsExperience in reporting and analytics.Advanced reporting and Excel skills, including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or SQL.Proficiency with the MS Office suite of tools.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and aggregate large amounts of data.Strategic ability to transform data into an executive-level consumable format.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.Attention to detail and strong relationship management skills.Experience with Agile methodologies as a Business Analyst.Preferred QualificationsStrong business acumen in financial services companies or technology functions.Experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or other business intelligence reporting tools.Experience with data manipulation from multiple systems of record and database tools.Data problem-solving skills.Ability to translate user needs into reporting deliverables.
