Business Analyst

IT Business AnalystThe IT Business Analyst will support project management activities by facilitating communication between business units, project teams, and stakeholders regarding project requirements and proposed solutions. The role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, managing product backlogs, and ensuring that user stories are clearly defined and understood by development teams. The Business Analyst will also analyze business processes, recommend improvements, and help ensure that project deliverables align with business goals and user needs.Experience:2–3 years of experience working with businesses to identify and document IT needs and facilitate solutions.Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.Experience working in Agile development environments.Responsibilities:Facilitate communication between stakeholders, project teams, and business units.Elicit business requirements including features and user stories for project requests.Manage and maintain the product backlog.Decompose user stories into detailed tasks for development teams.Define and document acceptance criteria for user stories.Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are implemented effectively.Assist in developing project documentation for project management processes.Support user acceptance testing activities with stakeholders and end users.Identify business needs and drivers of value and success.Recommend solutions to improve workflow, productivity, and operational efficiency.Analyze current and future business processes to identify improvement opportunities.Assist the Project Manager in managing project analysis and testing activities.Lead the development team during implementation phases by answering questions and resolving issues.Create and maintain testing plans following iterative development methodologies.Develop and maintain user stories, use cases, and project artifacts.Identify gaps in data requirements and help define data models needed for solutions.Create mock-ups of user interfaces when required.Support stakeholders in understanding business and technical impacts of project decisions.Work with business units to manage expectations for project completion.Develop user scenarios and support continuous improvement initiatives.Assist with updating business processes and procedural documentation.Skills:Business analysis and requirements gathering.Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Strong documentation and communication skills.Ability to learn new technologies and apply them to business solutions.Qualification And Education:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and knowledge.
