About the Role

The Company is seeking dedicated individuals to join its Board of Directors. The Board plays a crucial role in guiding the organization's programming and activities, with a strong focus on community outreach, education, and advocacy. This is a hands-on position, and prospective board members should be prepared to actively contribute to the Center's mission, which has a rich history of supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be willing to roll up their sleeves, and work towards the Center's goals, including a capital investment campaign and the rebuilding of programming. The time commitment for board members is currently approximately 1-3 hours per week, and the organization is particularly interested in individuals who can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the table. The Board is committed to being a voice for the entire LGBTQIA+ community and is dedicated to the legacy of the Center as a welcoming and inclusive space.
