Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Nocturnist - Hospitalist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx . North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds and is a community hospital dedicated to serving the health needs of all New Yorkers. Opportunity Details: Full-Time position in a group of 3 with scheduling flexibility. Primary responsibility for the care and management of patients admitted to the General Medicine Service, but remaining in the emergency department awaiting a bed, with consultation provided by specialists as necessary. Provides Attending oversight to the medicine service supervising trainees and responding to clinical changes and emergencies. Spends 100% of time in clinical activities, including supervision of residents and clinical projects. Qualifications License to practice medicine in the State of New York. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Prior Hospitalist experience preferred. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $241,000* (board eligible); $246,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $360,620** (board eligible) and $366,120** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
