Cyber Security Analyst

Responsibilities as a Cybersecurity Analyst: Configure, integrate, and manage log sources across servers, networks, applications, and cloud environments within the SIEM to ensure centralized and reliable visibility into security events. Monitor log ingestion health to ensure data integrity, accurate processing, and continuous availability. Analyze and interpret security events across multiple platforms, including AS/400, IPS, NAC, Windows, Linux, databases, and firewalls. Collaborate in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of security platforms such as firewalls, EDR/ATP tools, endpoint protection, and other enterprise protection technologies. Investigate anomalies, agent deviations, and security configurations to support compliance and operational efficiency. Support root cause analysis for suspicious events, incidents, and security alerts. Assess unauthorized applications and associated risks across organizational assets. Manage operational requests related to security controls and related activities (for example, firewall reviews and NAC administration) in accordance with established SLAs and OLAs. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including operating manuals, user guides, and security assessment methodologies. Prepare technical and executive reports on security events, investigations, and control performance. Present security findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Coordinate with local, regional, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely handling of security events, including proper evidence collection and documentation. Report exceptions and document deviations from security controls through established channels. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. At least one (1) year of experience administering and/or supporting Linux and Windows server environments, along with practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Working knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and LDAPS, as well as experience administering security platforms such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and NAC. Strong documentation skills, including the ability to develop and maintain detailed technical reports, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with compliance and audit requirements. Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python and PowerShell is preferred. Fully Bilingual. Medical Insurance. Talent Referral Program.
