Job Title Specialist, FPGA/ASIC Hardware Engineer, Electrical Engineering Job Code 37369 Job Location Cincinnati, Ohio Job Schedule 4/10 Responsibilities Analysis of requirements, architecture definition, design and debug of FPGA and associated hardware and firmware. Developing Verilog HDL targeting antifuse and enhanced flash FPGA’s. Performing effective analysis of functional issues or performance profiling with hardware and firmware in test environments. Contribute to process improvements to ensure hardware‑firmware quality and time‑to‑market. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree. Knowledge of Verilog for logic design. Programming experience in C for embedded systems, including algorithms, data structure manipulation and optimized code. Experience with lab tools: logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG/ICE debuggers and protocol analyzers. Familiarity with hardware, software and firmware development methodologies: design verification, code reviews, unit testing, prototyping, product testing. Experience with code version control (SVN, Git, TFS). Knowledge of digital design practices, logic design and architecture, HDL’s (Verilog, VHDL). Knowledge of SystemVerilog verification with UVM, VMM, OVM (a plus). Developing C# source code for bare‑metal microcontroller development. Good English speaking and writing skills. Action‑oriented and organized. Ability to handle short‑notice needs/requests. Additional Requirements Ability to obtain a security clearance; clearance may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
