Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehabilitation RN for a 13-week night shift contract in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• High neurological patient population, including stroke patients
• Performs standard medical floor nursing care; Heparin Drips are not administered on this unit
• Night shift schedule
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Stroke certification is a plus but not required

Additional Information

• Assess patients to determine physical, mental, and spiritual needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition using clinical nursing judgment
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records and meet Core Measure responsibilities
• Provide patient and family education and instructions
• Contribute to a positive workplace through professional communication and conflict management
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
