Revenue Accountant Or Government Contracts Billing Specialist
We're looking for an experienced revenue accountant or government contracts billing specialist to join a team with an immediate need — this is a high-visibility hire being tracked at the executive level. If you have a strong billing background in government contracting and know how to navigate the nuances of government invoicing, funding processes, and agency communication, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Manage billing and invoicing processes specific to government contracts
- Serve as a direct point of contact with government agencies and clients, requiring clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Navigate online government systems accurately and efficiently
- Handle a fluid workload with shifting priorities and exercise sound judgment on when to work independently versus escalate
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in government contracting, with a heavy billing focus
- Solid understanding of how government contracts, invoicing, and funding processes work
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills — this role requires direct external communication with agencies and clients
- Comfort working in online government platforms and portals
- A self-starter mindset — someone who researches issues before asking for help and knows how to operate with ambiguity
Nice to Have
- Experience with WAWF, GSA, or IPP systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visio (fully trainable)

- Schedule: Monday–Thursday on-site, remote Fridays
