Psychiatrist Opportunity with Emory Healthcare - Warner Robins, GA

Emory Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our growing team at the Warner Robins location. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to provide exceptional psychiatric care to a diverse patient population in an inpatient and outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, a commitment to evidence-based treatment, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care for a 17-bed inpatient behavioral health unit and a 267-bed medical-surgical unit.

• Manage and treat adult patients with a variety of psychiatric conditions such as psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and other behavioral health conditions.

• Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management in a well-established outpatient clinic.

• Collaborate with a dedicated Mobile Assessment Team responsible for initial psychiatric screening and disposition planning.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to evaluate and manage behavioral health concerns in hospitalized patients.

Requirements

* Must possess a Doctor of Medicine Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.)

* Must hold or obtain a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia

* Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred

* Hold a valid DEA certificate without restriction

* Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred

* Excellent interpersonal skills required

* Must be computer literate
