Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45-19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - 2 years nursing experience - Experience working with trachs Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 23 step down, 16 med surg Type of Staff: Day Shift: 1 charge, 11 RN, 4 PCT Night Shift: 1 charge, 10 RN, 4 PCT Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 Step down, 1:4-6 med surg Type of Equipment: Lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, trachs EMR: Cerner Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Typical Procedures Performed: Trach care, chest tubes, wound dressing changes Best Personality Fit: Flexibility and high level of clinical competence Floating Area(s): Other med surg and progressive care units Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire: Navy blue Weekends and On Call: 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6 week period General Comments: Position creation reason: Contractor Replacement
