Registered Nurse (RN)

Role Provides professional nursing care in accordance with facility policies, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for designated patients. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs. Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure quality and safety, participating in research and improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and colleagues using appropriate verbal and non-verbal styles. Coordinate patient and family education to facilitate care transitions. Support departmental and hospital goals through teamwork, participating in performance improvement processes. Perform technical skills specific to clinical specialty and unit practice, incorporating technology to enhance care delivery. Demonstrate leadership by mentoring new staff, delegating tasks based on skills and patient acuity, and contributing to performance evaluations. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure in the state. Knowledge reflective of current nursing practice, with the ability to organize and prioritize care. Successful completion of specialty orientation and maintenance of unit-specific competencies. Basic computer skills and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Physical Demands Ability to lift 40-50 lbs, stand/walk frequently, and perform activities such as kneeling, bending, and CPR as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
