Application Engineering Intern

Intern Position

Essential duties and responsibilities include providing support for communication/automation/protection test beds, performing testing on existing and new technology, documenting test bed activities and results, supporting sales and customer service and product development activities related to communication/automation/protection, supporting applications engineers to develop best practice application guides for SEL technology that provide secure and compliant solutions, continuously identifying, measuring, and improving processes, following and applying SEL values, principles of operations, and world class manufacturing principles, understanding, creating, simplifying, and other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include being a current student pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or related field, being self-motivated/self-starter, having strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills, the ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities, and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Background check results satisfactory to SEL and negative drug test result(s) are also required.
