Exec Robotic Stapling Specialist (Capitol District, DC)

Job Responsibilities Stapling Technology Leadership: Serve as district expert on stapling technologies (Signia, Specialty Reloads, Circular EEA) to drive market share growth. Provide hands‑on training and clinical support to surgeons and surgical teams. Robotic Hybrid Bedside Procedure Expansion: Lead introduction and execution of robotic hybrid bedside procedures across the district. Drive conversion opportunities by collaborating with robotic surgery teams. Market Development Program Execution: Initiate and execute district‑wide programs, including therapy awareness, RAS adoption, peer‑to‑peer training, and KOL engagement strategies to influence market adoption. Robotic Surgery Presence & Expertise: Maintain weekly presence in robotic procedures to deepen expertise, and position the district for HUGO platform entry by building strategic relationships with robotic surgery teams. Success Metrics: Achieve/exceed sales quota, increase margin by shifting from manual to powered stapling, improve conversion ratios through procedure adoption, enhance opportunity management and forecasting accuracy. Product Portfolio Alignment: Focus on stapling (Signia, Specialty Reloads, Circular EEA) and wound closure (V‑Loc, Absorbable Barbed Suture) digital technologies. Qualifications Must Have Minimum 10+ years medical device sales experience with a high school diploma. Minimum 8+ years sales experience with an associate's degree. Minimum 6+ years sales experience with a bachelor's degree. Nice to Have At least 7 years medical sales experience with industry knowledge. Strong business acumen and analytical skills to assess regional sales potential. Proven leadership and coaching experience with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives. Knowledge of clinical environments and ability to communicate complex product information. Experience building and managing key customer relationships with clinical and administrative decision‑makers. Excellent organizational, time‑management, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., SF.com) and Microsoft Office.
