Room Lead, Packaging

Catalent seeks a Room Lead, Packaging to oversee clinical trial and commercial packaging operations at its Kansas City facility. The role ensures regulatory compliance, quality standards, and production schedules while leading assigned team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging operations for clinical and commercial batches in primary, secondary, and potent areas
• Lead assigned team members and delegate tasks to ensure daily job completion
• Maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics for all outputs
• Ensure strict adherence to cGMP, GDP, gowning procedures, and batch record accuracy
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement 5S principles to eliminate waste

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years clinical trial packaging or related manufacturing experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate team members effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems
• Problem-solving ability and high attention to detail
• Valid DEA clearance and ability to work with controlled substances
