Whether you're an experienced fabrication professional, a recent trade school graduate, or currently enrolled in welding school and eager to apply your skills, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in a manufacturing environment focused on quality, safety, and continuous learning.As a Fabrication Associate, you'll work alongside a skilled team to help build components for fire suppression systems from the ground up. You'll gain exposure to multiple areas of the fabrication process and receive training across different shop functions as your skills grow.What You'll DoOperate fabrication equipment including saws, grooving machines, threading machines, and related shop equipmentMeasure, cut, thread, bevel, and prepare pipe according to specificationsRead and accurately use tape measures and basic measurement toolsMove, organize, and stage pipe and materials throughout the fabrication shop and pipe yardAssemble pipe orders for shipment in both individual and bundled configurationsPerform general labor, assembly, bundling, and material handling tasksSupport machine setup and basic equipment maintenance activitiesAssist with quality checks to ensure product accuracy and consistencySafely operate forklifts and material handling equipment as requiredRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 6 months of recent industrial or manufacturing experienceExperience operating machinery such as saws, fabrication equipment, or similar industrial equipmentAbility to read and accurately use a tape measureBasic math skills and the ability to perform measurements and calculationsAbility to lift up to **50pounds **on a regular basisComfortable working with pipe, sheet metal, and fabrication materials throughout the dayPreferred QualificationsFabrication, metalworking, pipefitting, or manufacturing experienceExposure to welding equipment or welding school trainingExperience operating grooving machines, threading equipment, band saws, or universal weldersForklift experienceExperience in assembly, material handling, or production environmentsReady to Build Your Future?If you're a motivated manufacturing professional, fabrication specialist, trade school graduate, or hands-on problem solver looking for a career-building opportunity, we want to hear from you.Apply today with PDS Tech Commercial and take the next step toward a rewarding career in fabrication, manufacturing, and life-safety systems.Pay Details:$20.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
