Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation
• Perform CT procedures and may assist with general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location
• Maintain accurate clinical records, files, and billing information while safeguarding patient data per HIPAA
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory
• Support patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations and collaborate with the imaging team

Requirements

• ARRT certification with CT specialty (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or RT (R)(ARRT) with CT endorsement; CT experience required
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the practice location; fluoroscopy license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required
• Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Experience: Approximately 3 years of CT imaging experience; 3 years preferred
• Venipuncture certification preferred
• Ability to work a 3x12 night shift schedule with call (1–2 nights per week)
