Overview
Radiology Tech - CT Tech travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date August 10, 2026, for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $2,401–$2,565 per week. Schedule features dayshift with 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week. Work setting is a hospital imaging department performing CT procedures and related imaging. This assignment is represented by SEIU and managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues for diagnosis
- Perform a range of imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy as needed
- Position patients, apply appropriate imaging protocols, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA), shielding, infection control, and patient safety throughout procedures
- Communicate with radiologists to optimize exam protocols and assist with image interpretation or documentation as required
- Maintain equipment and perform basic quality control tasks; document findings and ensure proper data transfer to the PACS

Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license or credentials per California state requirements (CT imaging certification preferred)
- CT imaging certification (ARRT or equivalent) or eligibility per state guidelines
- Relevant CT imaging experience; hospital imaging department experience preferred
- Ability to perform 12-hour dayshift assignments and work in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Strong patient communication and teamwork skills; commitment to safety and quality
