International Sales Manager

Job Description INTERNATIONAL SALES MANAGER Working hours are 7am-4pm Monday to Friday (This role is fully onsite in Newport Beach. Candidates must be local, and within a commutable distance in order to be considered) House of SILLAGE is seeking a passionate, team‑minded and high‑performing Sales Manager to help us meet our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will be responsible for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve your financial targets both domestically and internationally. Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities within the company. You will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales activities including distribution and channel strategy, market competitiveness, pricing, and revenue achievement. You must have flawless attention to details and an ability to deliver across global markets and cultures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for acquiring new business with Retailers and Distributors and managing the existing relationship with Domestic Retailers and Distributors Managing International Sales and Agents and setting goals to meet sales performance Develop and execute negotiation strategy / contracts. Plan to establish a framework to arrive at the most beneficial agreement possible between House of Sillage and the customer in the quickest timeframe possible Providing Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly and Yearly Sales reports and acquiring those reports from Agents Distributors Forecast inventory availability & sell-through and managing presales Maintain item forecast for purchase order requirements by assigned category Working with design, marketing and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management Maintain key customer relationships, develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer database. Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to increase sales and penetration in international and national markets. Maintains detailed performance records of all international pricing, sales, marketing reports. Sets international sales plan and targets and marketing programs short term and long term by territory with Agents and Distributors. Must be aware of international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to sales. Should be familiar with international business concepts, practices, procedures. Must work to develop and maintain international business contacts. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 7-10+ year’s experience in Sales Leadership and 5+ Years experience in International Business Development, required. Must have sales and marketing experience in Fragrance and Cosmetic Industry Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level Experience working with Major Retailers/Department Stores domestically Experience working with Distributors Internationally Experience with Contract negotiation and knowledge in Global Supply Chain in negotiating optimal terms. Must be able to travel nationally and internationally Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors Demonstrable experience in developing client‑focused, differentiated and achievable solutions Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Speaking multiple languages, a plus BA/BS degree or equivalent a plus This job description is not all-inclusive.
