Controller

This role leads day-to-day accounting operations while partnering with leadership on financial planning and long-term strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead core accounting functions including billing, receivables, payables, general ledger, and revenue accounting Own the monthly close process and deliver accurate, timely financial statements Maintain strong internal controls and data integrity across all financial activity Planning & Financial Strategy Drive annual budgeting and forecasting activities; analyze results and explain variances Support leadership with short- and long-range financial planning and performance insights Develop financial initiatives that support operational and growth objectives Compliance & Reporting Ensure adherence to GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements Oversee tax filings and required government reporting Coordinate audit activities and regulatory submissions Lead, coach, and develop an accounting team Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role Industry experience in healthcare or senior/assisted living is a plus Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards Proficient with accounting systems and Excel Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused Effective communicator with the ability to engage across the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
