Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join an established aerospace manufacturing organization in Meriden, CT.

The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key point of contact between the company and its customers. This position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, managing orders, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring customer issues and requests are handled promptly and professionally.

Candidates with aerospace or industrial manufacturing experience are required. Aerospace manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions and concerns
• Assist customers with account-related issues and requests
• Manage customer orders and provide timely follow-up
• Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Track and follow up on customer requests and open issues
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
• Communicate effectively with production, operations, sales, and other internal teams
• Support overall customer satisfaction and client service
• Review customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve service
• Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, client support, or office experience
• Aerospace or industrial manufacturing experience required
• Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with data entry and computer systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal personnel
• Aerospace customer portal experience is a plus
• Experience supporting manufacturing customers or industrial clients is highly preferred
