Knowledge necessary and equipment used to perform essential functions of this job include: floor polishing, carpet shampooing, vacuuming, lawn mowing, snow removal; mops, brooms, shovels, as well as basic hand tools. This position primarily entails custodial work and light maintenance.First review of applications on September 20, 2026.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesScrubs, mops, waxes, polishes and vacuums floors and carpets, using floor scrubber and polisher, carpet shampooer and vacuum cleaners following manufacturer's instructionsCleans walls, windows, fixtures, drinking fountains, lavatories and other facilities using appropriate cleaning agents and materialsPaints rooms, hallways and ceilings in various buildings using ladders in which heights may varyDusts, polishes furniture and washes windowsUses cleaning agents according to MSDS instructionsCollects and disposes of refuse/recycling materialsMows lawns. Trims and waters grass, shrubbery and plantsPerforms snow removal using a variety of equipment including shovels, snow blowers, plow truck, ATV and/or skid steer. Additional coverage and coverage for spouse and dependents are available at additional cost. Deferred Compensation Plans: Two plans are available.
