Overview

Responsibilities
- Perform digital mammography imaging on Hologic mammography units, adhering to ALARA and safety standards; ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position patients, apply appropriate compression, and address patient comfort while optimizing image quality.
- Verify patient data and exam requests; document imaging in the EMR (EPIC) and image management system (Visage).
- Coordinate with radiologists for image review and follow-up, and communicate any image quality concerns.
- Maintain equipment readiness, participate in routine QA, and comply with ARRT Mammography standards and facility policies.

Requirements
- ARRT Mammography (M) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Minimum 1 year of radiology experience
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- Hologic mammography unit experience preferred
- Availability for a weekend day per week and a flexible schedule; able to work in a hospital radiology environment
- Reliable transportation may be needed due to local transit limitations
