Preferred Background and Experience:

• Current and active KS RN or LPN license
• Previous pediatric or school nursing experience is valued
• Comfortable with trach and gtube care in children
• Strong assessment and communication abilities
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to adapt to the school setting
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• CPR certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care to a kindergarten-aged student on a one-to-one basis
• Manage and monitor trach and gtube interventions safely
• Maintain accurate documentation of provided care and student responses
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, family members, and school personnel
• Support the student in achieving the highest level of independence during school hours
