Job Description
The HVAC Lead Installer is responsible for overseeing the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across both commercial and residential projects. This role involves leading a small team, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and managing equipment and documentation. Regular travel to multiple sites is expected, with a balance of on-site work and use of both software tools and manual processes to accomplish tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC installation projects from start to finish
- Supervise a small team of 1-3 installers
- Ensure quality control throughout the installation process
- Enforce safety standards and compliance on job sites
- Handle and maintain HVAC equipment properly
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for projects
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in HVAC installation
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification in HVAC or related field
- EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification
- Experience with HVAC system installation
- Proven team leadership skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Knowledge of safety compliance standards
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent time management abilities
