B2B Territory Sales Representative Raleigh North Carolina Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000 + Commission Target Total Compensation: $85,000–$100,000+ We are partnering with a growing service organization seeking a driven B2B Territory Sales Representative to develop new commercial business within an assigned territory. This is a true hunter sales role focused on winning new customers and building recurring revenue. You’ll spend significant time in the field identifying prospects, connecting with decision-makers, uncovering business needs, and converting opportunities into long-term accounts. Industry experience is not required. Our client is much more interested in someone who has been trained to sell, understands the sales process, and thrives in a structured, high-activity environment. What You'll Do Prospect and develop new B2B customers throughout your territory Identify and connect with business owners, property managers, facility managers, purchasing contacts, and other decision-makers Conduct regular in-person prospect visits and sales meetings Uncover customer needs, existing contracts, pricing considerations, and service requirements Prepare proposals and present value-based solutions Overcome objections, negotiate, and close profitable new business Maintain disciplined follow-up on prospects, quotes, and opportunities Build and manage an active sales pipeline Accurately document sales activity and opportunities in the CRM Work toward measurable monthly activity, revenue, and new-account goals What We're Looking For 3+ years of B2B, consultative, strategic, or customer-facing sales experience Proven ability to prospect and develop new business Strong understanding of the full sales process Comfortable spending significant time in the field Confident approaching decision-makers and starting conversations Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Organized and disciplined with pipeline management and follow-up Comfortable working in a KPI-driven sales environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Authorization to work in the United States Experience in facility services, uniform services, route-based services, logistics, commercial services, building materials, equipment rental, industrial services, or other high-activity B2B sales environments can translate extremely well.
