Growing together.You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Solid understanding of software engineering processes: Design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile and dev-opsAnalyze business requirements to develop database solutions for Health Care and Reporting systemsProvide support for Service Availability, Stability & application performanceResolve production issues by code debugging, analyzing logs, perform reverse engineering to find the root cause and suggest permanent fix within SLA (Service Level Agreement)Available for production deployments/troubleshooting during off hours/weekendsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Mainframe technologies (FSE)5+ years of experience with JCL, COBOL5+ years of experience with DB2, SQL5+ years of experience with CICS, API5+ years of experience in REXX4+ years of experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban principles4+ years of knowledge of Airflow or TWSd batch jobs4+ years of experience in managing code migration through the various stages for the release*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
