We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide evaluation, treatment, and consultation services to students in a school setting. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with special education teams while helping students improve mobility, access to learning, and achieve their educational goals.

Position Details

• Position: Physical Therapist (PT)

• Start Date: September 9, 2026

• Contract Length: 40 Weeks

• Schedule: 37.5 Hours per Week

• Caseload: Approximately 40-45 students

• Grade Levels: All Grades

• Interview Process: Virtual interview with the Special Education Director

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and educational goals.

• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs and physician orders when applicable.

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding mobility and physical access needs.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple grade levels.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
