Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government-related educational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative culture that puts people first.

Pay Rate: $17.12 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and students by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assisting with visitor direction, policy awareness, and reporting of suspicious behavior and/or unusual conditions.
• Support daily operations at a public-facing educational location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following Allied Universal post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
