Registered Nurse (RN)This position is an auto-offer for a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry specialty. The role involves nights from 1900 to 0700, with a guaranteed weekly schedule of 36 or 48 hours over a 13-week assignment. The unit requires flexibility in scheduling, including possible blocked scheduling based on facility requirements. Weekend hours will be required as dictated by the facility, and there are no call responsibilities.Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 32Patient Ratios: Day shifts have a ratio of 1:5-1:6, and night shifts have a ratio of 1:6-1:7.Equipment: Telemetry, lift equipment, IV pumps, tube feeding pumpsEMR: EPICQualificationsRequired Licensure: Current RN License meeting eligibility criteria in the state of Missouri.Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA, NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale - must obtain prior to start)Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry, specifically in an inpatient setting.Preferred Skills: Competence in drug titration and familiarity with medical and respiratory patients.Personality FitThe ideal candidate should demonstrate determination, decisiveness, and flexibility in a fast-paced medical environment.Dress CodeScrub Color: BlackUnacceptable Attire: Any color other than black scrubsWorking ConditionsThe role involves a significant amount of standing and walking, as well as bending, stooping, and lifting patients with assistance.
