Hofmann USA has an amazing opportunity for Production Associates in the Greer, SC area working at the BMW plant on the Assembly Line. With pay increase! The position involves assembling parts and subassemblies on the ergonomic BMW assembly line, contributing to the production of BMW X3, X4, X5, X6, and X7 Sports Activity Vehicles and Coupes. Benefits: Starting pay is $23.58 per hour for day shift and $24.83 per hour for night shift Medical with a portion paid by I.K. Hofmann USA Dental, Vision, Life, Accident, Short Term Disability, and Critical Illness Insurance 401k with a match after 1 year of service 80 hours of Paid Time Off per 2000 hours worked Up to 13 Paid Holidays Pay increase after 1 and 2 years of service Employee Discount Program Referral Program that offers $50 to both you and your referral after they work 80 hours Schedule: Day Shift hours are 7:00 am – 5:40 pm Night Shift hours are 7:30 pm – 6:10 am During training you work 5 shifts that are 8 hours a day for 2 weeks Once training is complete you work 4 shifts that are 10 hours a day each week Picking up overtime shifts is allowed and encouraged Duties and Responsibilities: Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed Adjust machine for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production Spend up to 10 hours a day in a stationary position on the assembly line Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools Conduct quality control checks periodically and maintain quality standards Essential Job Functions: Work in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate problem‑solving and multitasking skills Maintain a stationary position during a shift Shift between upright and low stances as required Reach overhead as necessary to perform job functions Operate machinery to perform job functions Move and transport up to 50 lbs unassisted Required Experience: 1 year production, manufacturing, assembly, or other applicable experience High school diploma or GED Equal Opportunity Employer: We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and celebrate our employees' differences, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, Veteran status, or any other protected classes.
