Logistics Specialist Top Skills: Strong MS Excel Problem solving Communication Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze key operational/financial indices regularly. Find root causes for discrepancies between actual performance and forecast. Analyze issues and make reports/recommendations as requested by the team leader/head of department. Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications. Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities. Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures. Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands. Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions. Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, finance, or a relevant field. 1-3 years' experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of logistics and/or supply chain operations. Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills. Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP, WMS, and ERP. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
