The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading commercial roofing contractor to identify an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative to join its growing team in Saginaw, Texas.

What You'll Do

The ideal candidate is comfortable prospecting, generating their own opportunities, and managing long sales cycles while becoming the go-to resource for clients' commercial roofing needs.

Business Development & Sales

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and in-person prospecting
  
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial property owners, facility managers, property management companies, and general contractors
  
• Schedule meetings with key decision-makers and develop long-term client relationships
  
• Manage a consultative sales cycle that may extend several months while maintaining consistent follow-up
  
• Identify customer needs and recommend preventive maintenance programs, repair services, restoration solutions, and roof asset management strategies
  
• Develop and present professional proposals, service agreements, and project recommendations
  
• Negotiate contracts and close profitable service opportunities
  
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and sales activity
  

Client Relationship Management

• Become a trusted advisor for clients by helping them extend the life of their roofing systems
  
• Conduct routine customer follow-up to ensure satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities
  
• Generate referrals and repeat business through exceptional customer service
  
• Build lasting relationships that lead to long-term maintenance agreements and recurring revenue
  

Project Coordination

• Work closely with Operations and Service Management to transition awarded projects into execution
  
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met
  
• Monitor projects won through your sales efforts and maintain strong communication throughout the process
  
• Assist with developing sales strategies for key accounts and target markets
  

Services You'll Represent

You'll help customers solve a variety of commercial roofing challenges, including:

• Roof leak investigations, repairs & preventive maintenance programs
  
• Roof restoration, protective coatings & drainage improvements
  
• Localized reroofing and damaged roof section replacement
  
• Flashing and waterproofing repairs
  
• Roof modifications to accommodate HVAC and other rooftop equipment
  
• Building envelope and roofing asset management solutions
  

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 3 to 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience within commercial roofing, construction, facilities services, building envelope, or a related industry
  
• Experience managing long sales cycles and complex commercial accounts
  
• Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
  
• Professional sales training (Sandler or similar) is a plus
  
• Proven success generating new business through self-sourced prospecting and relationship development
  
• Commercial roofing or building envelope experience is highly preferred
  

Additional Skills & Attributes

• Ability to climb ladders and safely inspect commercial roofs
  
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
  
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, communication, presentation, interpersonal skills
  
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record & willingness to travel locally up to 80% of the time
