Fulfillment Specialist II

Primary Function

The Fulfillment Specialist II is responsible for assisting the Mortgage Operations team members in obtaining, reviewing, and verifying client documentation to facilitate the qualifying, processing, and closing of loans. This position is considered a non-loan originator position.

Principal Duties:

1. Interfaces with vendor or 3rd party systems and companies.
2. Obtains documentation to meet investor guidelines.
3. Reviews and satisfy document requirements.
4. Validates that documentation meets Federal and State guidelines.
5. Completes data entry and supporting services for loan processing.
6. Communicates with business partners regarding discrepancies and missing documentation.
7. Generates, reviews, and releases initial and subsequent disclosures.
8. Maintains standard company turnaround times.
9. Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• 2+ years of mortgage industry or industry equivalent related experience.
• Basic knowledge of loan documentation and processes.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills to include MS Word & Excel.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Working on-site at assigned office location.
• Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
• Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
• Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
• Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
• Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
• Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
