Project Manager

A leading Developer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of ground-up multifamily developments throughout the Houston market. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through final completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Lead the overall execution of ground-up multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout. Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, buyout, contracts, change orders, and financial reporting. Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Superintendent and subcontractors. Review and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and procurement activities. Coordinate architects, engineers, owners, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the construction process. Conduct regular Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and provide detailed project updates. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures. Identify project risks and proactively implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives. Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while supporting their professional development. Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor. Proven experience delivering ground-up multifamily projects valued between $30M and $100M+. Experience with wood-frame, podium, wrap, garden-style, or mixed-use multifamily construction preferred. Required Skills Project management expertise in multifamily construction. Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with various multifamily construction types.
