OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Independence, MO by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.65 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.02 CPM when hauling hazmat
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Operating from Independence, MO, HMD Trucking seeks experienced OTR solo CDL A drivers for coast-to-coast HAZMAT freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport hazardous materials per DOT guidelines
- Maintain accurate logs, inspections, and HAZMAT documentation
- Coordinate efficient routing and delivery scheduling
Benefit from late-model equipment featuring APUs, inverters, and sleepers, plus in-house maintenance. Average 2,500 miles weekly, with safety, inspection, and referral bonuses, full health and retirement benefits, and home every two weeks.
