Position OverviewJLL is seeking a Transaction Manager to support our team for a global client portfolio, responsible for transactions in North America and LATAM regions across primarily office and industrial assets. This role offers flexible working with proximity to an East Coast JLL office preferred.About the RoleAs a Transaction Manager, you will lead and execute real estate lease transactions while fostering client relationships and driving business growth. Working in a high-volume, client-facing environment, you'll manage transactions independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams across various disciplines and business units. As part of a global team supporting North America and LATAM primarily, with occasional support for EMEA and APAC regions, you'll work across time zones and geographies. This role requires expertise in transaction management, market analysis, and client relationship development in a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive workplace. Travel may be required based on client and transaction needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementServe as a trusted advisor for client real estate transactionsAttend and actively participate in client meetings and conference callsContinuous improvement of client transaction management processesCollaborate with clients and team members to resolve tenant-landlord issuesManage building tours and transaction reporting for clientsWork directly with client stakeholders to understand real estate requirementsTransaction ManagementIndependently manage and execute lease transactions with high proficiencySelect, engage, and manage brokers for lease transactionsNegotiate favorable economic and flexible lease termsReview lease documents, create lease abstracts, and summariesGather and evaluate market data and property informationResearch landlords, companies, and potential subtenantsNegotiate letters of intent, leases, and other transaction documentsPrepare commission invoices and track transactions in proprietary systemsAccount Performance SupportAssist Global Portfolio Services Lead and Account Director in managing client deliverablesCreate and maintain financial reports and key performance metricsEnsure accuracy of portfolio dataDevelop occupancy cost-saving strategiesEvaluate alternative occupancy solutions and financial structuresManage surrender of premises or decommissioning projects when neededIndustry-Specific KnowledgeOffice & Industrial: Knowledge of commercial real estate market fundamentals including market analysis, rental rate trends, lease structures, vacancy rates, and competitive positioning. Understanding of workplace strategy, office space planning and industrial property types (warehouse, distribution, light industrial).Requirements9+ years of commercial real estate transactions or leasing experienceActive real estate brokerage or salesperson's license preferredKnowledge of real estate and lease terminologyStrong negotiation skills and transaction execution experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related fieldExperience in corporate real estate with understanding of client service requirementsStrong analytical abilities, both financial and qualitativeExpertise with complex commercial lease structuresProficiency with TME, CoStar and other specialized real estate databasesThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
