We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! Hours are Monday 7:45-5, Wednesday 7:45-5, Friday 7:45-5 and Saturday 7:45-2.
Responsibilities:
Duties include all aspects of Medical Assisting such as preparing injections, EKG, strep tests, flu/Covid 19 swabs, UA/urine cultures, INR monitoring, wound care, manual blood pressure. Communicate with insurance companies regarding prior authorizations.
Duties also include making appointments, heavy phone volume, scanning and faxing. Our EMR is EPIC. We are looking for a reliable candidate who works well with others and is punctual.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields is preferred however New Grads and Students Welcome!
- The appropriate candidate must be reliable, detail oriented, have good communication skills and be able to multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Salary to commensurate with experience.
We are a small Primary care physician office with great doctors and staff that are all helpful and work well together!! We see patients from the age of 16 up.
