Courier/Service Representative

Labcorp

Lafayette, LA

Labcorp seeks a Courier/Service Representative in Lafayette, Louisiana to pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports. The role involves operating a company vehicle, managing daily routes, and ensuring safe handling of diagnostic materials.

Responsibilities

  • Load and complete daily pickup schedules in timely manner
  • Safely transport medical specimens and lab samples to branch
  • Operate company vehicle while following traffic laws
  • Use handheld electronic device to manage pickups and route adjustments
  • Coordinate with dispatcher and evaluate routes based on traffic and weather

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • At least 21 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Previous courier or driver experience preferred
  • Strong punctuality and time management skills
  • Customer service experience is beneficial
