Responsibilities

• Provide and manage anesthesia autonomously for a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans tailored to orthopedic patients.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, emphasizing the skilled application of regional anesthesia techniques.
• Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and adhere to all practice protocols.
• Work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Collaborate effectively with orthopedic surgeons and other surgical team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
• Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Valid and unrestricted Missouri RN license (or eligible for licensure).
• Proven ability to practice autonomously and manage cases independently.
• Required: Demonstrated proficiency and experience in performing regional anesthesia techniques.
• Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for orthopedic cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
