As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $14.94 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 08:00 PMTue04:00 PM - 08:00 PMWed04:00 PM - 08:00 PMThur04:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access-control records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns. Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, document observations and incidents, and support compliance with location requirements. Minimum Requirements Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
