Job Description Job Description Transportation Logistics Coordinator Location: North Dallas– 100% On-site Type: Temp-to-Hire Compensation: $50,000 Annual Salary Schedule: Initial training 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; transitioning to 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM About the Role Our client's ingredients and chemicals are the hidden backbone of everyday life—found in everything from food and fertilizers to high-performance surface coatings. As a TransportationLogistics Coordinator , you won't just be moving freight; you'll be managing the "endless possibilities" of our supply chain. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with 1–3 years of experience to sharpen their expertise in road freight, rail, and warehousing within a global industry. You will act as a vital link between the West Coast administration team, our client's vendors and customers. Key Responsibilities Freight Coordination: Manage road and rail quotations; coordinate container drayage and schedule complex drop-shipments. Data Integrity: Maintain precise database management and handle high-volume data entry with 100% accuracy. Financial Oversight: Perform rigorous invoice reconciliation to ensure vendor billing aligns with service delivery. Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for transport companies, shipping lines, and warehouse partners. Cross-Functional Liaison: Communicate seamlessly across internal teams and external customers to ensure timely delivery under tight constraints. What You Bring Experience: 1–3 years in Logistics or Distribution (specifically Road Freight or Warehousing). Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Excel skills and experience with data-driven computer systems (Open Dock experience is a major plus). Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written skills. Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is considered a significant advantage. Detail-Oriented Mindset: A "sharp eye" for the small details that keep a supply chain moving smoothly. Adaptability: The ability to work independently while remaining synchronized with a remote West Coast team.
