Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel) | Nashua, NH, United States | Start 09/21/2026 | 13 weeks | 2,201–2,249 per week | 36 guaranteed hours | Day Shift 7a–7p | Hospital travel assignment
This travel assignment requires willingness to float to Med/Surg, Rehab, and Geriatric Psychiatry units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients on the Med Surg unit, following provider orders and maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation, including care plans each shift.
- Float to Med/Surg, Rehab, and Geriatric Psychiatry units as needed to support patient care continuity.
- Communicate patient information for continuity and safety through Bedside Shift Report, Multidisciplinary rounds, and Hourly Rounding (AIDET).
- Promote a safe and collaborative environment by participating in daily unit-based safety huddles, maintaining unit-specific competencies, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a preceptor for new nurses and collaborate with nursing students and instructors; contribute to DNV survey readiness and ongoing quality initiatives.
- Stay current with nurse-sensitive indicators (e.g., CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, FALLS, HH, VAE) and apply findings to improve patient outcomes and care processes.

Requirements
- Current New Hampshire RN license (active)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Telemetry knowledge or willingness to complete a dysrhythmia course prior to orientation
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained prior to orientation
- Graduate of an approved nursing program preferred or equivalent education
