Physical Therapist - Full Time

Job Description As a Therapist I, you support Valley Health’s mission and vision by delivering high‑quality, best‑practice rehabilitation services to patients. You may be assigned to any rehabilitation setting and work as an active member of an interdisciplinary team, responding to physician referrals, assessing skilled and medically necessary needs, and implementing discipline‑specific interventions that enhance patient safety and functional independence. Your feedback is critical for determining and recommending patient progression through the continuum of care. You are responsible for maintaining professional competence, identifying educational needs, and seeking opportunities for growth with more advanced clinicians and continuing education. You also adhere to licensure, documentation, and billing guidelines, recognize program development opportunities, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Clinical settings include Acute (Orthopedics, Medical/Surgical, Pulmonary, Neurology, Cardiac ICU, Step Down, Trauma, NICU, OT), CST, Inpatient Rehab, Outpatient, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Drivability, Vestibular, Lymphedema, Aquatics, Vision, and Wound Care. New hires may be eligible for relocation assistance, a sign‑on bonus of $15k or $25k depending on experience, or up to $30k in student loan reimbursement. Education Post Graduate Certificate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Certification & Licensures Virginia/West Virginia PT license or transitional license required at hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. Qualifications

• Basic computer and keyboarding skills, with participation in computer training within the first year of employment.
• Ability to interact successfully with patients of all ages, applying age‑specific competencies.
• Demonstrated proficiency in providing discipline‑specific interventions at the entry level within the designated setting.
