Legal Administrative Assistant

What You’ll Do Manage complex calendars, prioritize competing requests, and ensure alignment with leadership priorities Coordinate meetings, committee deliverables, and administrative support for firm and divisional obligations Prepare, edit, and distribute legal documents, correspondence, reports, and presentations Monitor and follow up on deadlines, commitments, and key deliverables across multiple stakeholders Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Support projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met What You’ll Need Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in the legal field Minimum 3 years' experience in legal or the financial services industry Experience preparing and managing legal documents, with understanding of their purpose and structure Experience supporting multiple stakeholders, including attorneys or senior leaders, in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic file management systems Experience supporting litigation in a law firm or corporate legal department Familiarity with e-discovery platforms and legal technology tools Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program.
