Job Description:

Are you driven to detect, analyze, and stop emerging cyber threats before they impact the business? As a Cybersecurity Analyst II , you will play a critical role in safeguarding the Firm's technology environment by monitoring, triaging, and responding to security incidents within the organization including analysis of threat intelligence and threat hunting operations.


This role will also collaborate with other internal security teams to develop and implement new detection rules within the Firm's various security platforms (e.g. SIEM, EDR, etc.).

• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Utilize threat intelligence feeds to stay informed about emerging threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations
• Develop and implement new detection rules.
• Maintain and configure security tools and technologies.
• Document and conform to processes related to security monitoring and incident response.
• Acts as subject matter expert for security incident responses.
• Enhance department and organization reputation by delivering quality results and exploring opportunities to increase value and raise awareness of Information Security Program
• Participate in knowledge sharing with other analysts/engineers and develop solutions efficiently.

What You'll Bring

• Education - Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Cybersecurity, Information Technology related fields (or equivalent experience).
• Experience - At least six years of experience in an information technology-related field or a minimum of three years of direct cybersecurity experience (required).
• Certificates, Licensures, Registrations: CompTIA Security+, GIAC Information Security Fundamentals or Security Essentials Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Technologies/Software:

Required

• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne)
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk, LogRhythm, Exabeam, Google SecOps) including event analysis, log collection/management, alert generation, investigations, and reporting
• Azure cloud modules (e.g., Sentinel, Defender, Entra, Identity, Key Vault)
• Endpoint security technologies/agents (e.g., web proxy, DLP, CASB)
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred

• Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms
• Additional security technologies including Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), firewalls, content filtering, and vulnerability scanning/management solutions
