- Shift: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
Role: ICU RN (Critical Care)
Unit size: 7 ICU beds
Schedule
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed hours: 36/week
- Weekends/Holidays: Every other rotation
- On-call: None
- Call-back: Must report within 1 hour if needed
Requirements
- Minimum experience: 2 years ICU/Critical Care
- Skills: Strong ICU competency, resilient, adaptable, team-oriented
- Charting system: EPIC required
- Certifications:
- Illinois RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
Floating / Duties
- May float to:
- ER (rare, with orientation if needed)
- Med-Surg (more likely)
- House Supervisor coverage (resource/support role)
- ICU patient ratio: 2:1
Important Restrictions
- No local candidates (within 40-mile radius not eligible)
- Must be flexible with floating and staffing needs
