Specialty Pharmacy Territory Sales - Northern California

Our client is a national specialty pharmacy that provides personalized medication management and clinical support for patients with complex and chronic conditions, including oncology, multiple sclerosis, rheumatology, and rare diseases. They partner with healthcare providers, manufacturers, and payers to improve access to specialty medications, enhance patient outcomes, and deliver a high-touch care experience throughout treatment.

Salary:

• $109,296–$136,620 (depending on experience and California location), plus uncapped commission

Job Summary:
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase adoption and utilization by building relationships with healthcare providers and expanding specialty medication referrals throughout Northern California.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute territory sales strategies to drive specialty pharmacy referrals.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, biologic coordinators, medical assistants, office staff, and clinical teams.
• Conduct regular in-person provider visits throughout the assigned territory.
• Manage account activity, sales pipeline, and call cycles using Salesforce and CRM tools.
• Educate providers on specialty pharmacy services, reimbursement, and patient support programs.
• Identify and grow new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
• Monitor competitor activity and communicate market insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners and internal teams to achieve sales goals.
• Attend sales meetings, conferences, and training events.
• Travel approximately 50–70% throughout Northern California.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare sales experience.
• Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Preferred experience in Oncology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, and/or Rheumatology.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy and reimbursement processes preferred.
