Referrals Coordinator

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Referrals Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the referral management process in order to support the continuity of patient care from primary to tertiary needs.

Each day, you will represent CHI Mercy Medical during initial phone contact by providing patients with appointments, information and other operational support.

To excel, you must provide a high level of customer service in a manner consistent with CHI Mercy Medicals' mission, goals and service standards.

• Answering incoming requests from patients or referring provider's offices based on their needs

• Regulating all stat add-ons for entire imaging department

• Communicates efficiently and effectively with the external and internal clinical care team

• Works closely with technologists, radiologist, and imagining leadership to maintain schedule times

• Maintains weekly data regarding nex availalbe, waitlists, pending, no shows, and stats

• Maintains up to date records regarding patient appointments, office documents, insurance coverage, and incoming referrals

Job Requirements

Required

• High school diplomo or equivalent

• One to three (1-3) years of experience with medical terminology, imagining background, and scheduling experience

Pay Range

$21.85 - $30.87 /hour
