Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity At Fairview Mesaba Clinic

At Fairview Mesaba Clinic in Hibbing, we are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join a multi-specialty practice of 22 physicians and 6 NP/PAs. Be part of an outpatient primary care practice with the opportunity to perform procedures. We provide comprehensive, high quality medical care for the entire family through all stages of life.

The clinic is associated with Fairview Range Medical Center, the largest medical center in the area, that uses the latest in diagnostic and surgical equipment and techniques. Services include: 24-hour fully staffed ED with emergency medicine physicians, comprehensive laboratory and diagnostic imaging, 24-hour respiratory therapy, radiation therapy, ICU, Medical/Surgical Pediatric floor and comprehensive physician therapy, occupational, and speech therapy and cardiac rehab, along with a number of specialty clinics including diabetes and coumadin clinics.

2. Practitioners work a 4 day workweek with an expectation of 32 patient contact hours per week. Clinic hours are Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
3. Physician leadership is valued, encouraged, and supported at all levels of our organization.

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Board eligible/certified.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota.
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
• Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States.

The posted pay range is for a 1.0 FTE. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 1.0FTE schedule. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
