Department 01120 GCMG One Health: Reese Blvd - Family Medicine Department 01120 GCMG One Health: Reese Blvd - Family Medicine Status Full time Benefits Eligible Yes Hours Per Week 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information Varies - 3 to 4 days in clinic and possible 1 day virtual Pay Range $59.00 - $88.50 Behavioral Health Charlotte, in collaboration with One Health,arelookingforanexperiencedfull-timeadvancedpractice professional(APP) specialized in psychiatry to provide quality mental health services to the patients inthe Charlotteand surrounding community.This position is occupied by board certified psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BC) and/or physician assistants (PA) who are specifically trained and proficient in the provision of psychiatric services under the direct supervision of psychiatrists working for the Atrium Health Psychiatry Service Line.Theprovider in this position will perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management foradult patients throughout the lifespan.The APPis responsible forevaluating, stabilizing, and treating patients with acute and chronic mental health diagnoses.This may include, but is not limited to, patients with diagnoses of depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, and schizophrenia. Position Description Outpatient Full Time;Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm; 36 patient contact hours No weekends,holidaysor call Teaching opportunities with residents and/orAPPFellows $2500/40hoursofCME Eligiblefor moonlighting pay, PTO, and Performance Incentive Bonuses up to 5% Position Qualifications Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina. Current prescriptive privileges and DEA licenserequired. BLS for healthcareproviderfrom AHArequired. Nurse practitionersare required tohave a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice. Certification aspsychiatricNP from a nationally recognizedcertifyingbodyrequired. Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. Current or pending CAQ certification preferred. +1 years of experience preferred Demonstratesappropriate criticalthinking and interpersonal skills.
